The Beach

Returning to our East Coast ways, the clan went to the beach this Memorial Day Weekend. It's funny how 62 degrees is now considered "beach weather." Alex enjoyed playing in the "river" and getting toppled by the waves. Izzy enjoyed eating sand and wanting to do whatever her big sister was doing.

Mmmmm....Cherries

Alex and Izzy got to pick their own fresh cherries this weekend, straight from the tree, with their friends Montana and Asa. Upon Alex's request, Mommy got to bake cake, and cookies, and scones, and muffins. Upon Mommy's request, Daddy got to clean the kitchen.

Trip to Tahoe

Last weekend saw the family up in Tahoe for our first, of hopefully many, trips to Lake Tahoe in the Winter (queue cringing and shivering from Jess). With the Flanzers as our partners, the girls and boys enjoyed the skiing, tubing, and sleepovers. We also took our first photo when everyone, including Izzy, is looking at the camera at the same time.
